have you ever had a person in your life, where all you need is the smallest thing from them, and that can make your week, your month even. a text, a short email, a passing comment, and it just makes you smile on the inside. makes you want to tell everyone you know. makes you proud, so glad that you can just know that person.

the strokes are shit.

It's odd just working and thats it. not enough to do with yer extra time. not enough hard coreness, so to pass the time, we decided to record some songs at hamish's house. His folks have gone away, and happen to have just got a new spa. they also belong to a wine club which = a case a month which = wine in abundance.
we've recorded a couple of songs so far, and may I say they sound really good. amazing even. our song writing is better than ever, and our approach to recording is good I feel.

I wish i could go lie on a coromandel beach for a day. that'd suit me nicely.
